Wolseley: A Large-Scale Nespresso Professional Rollout

Stuart Hargreaves explains how a robust process, responsive support and detailed reporting helped Wolseley manage a large machine rollout.

Wolseley Group is a specialist merchant distributor of plumbing, HVAC, renewables and infrastructure utility products, supported by a broad branch network across the UK and Ireland. A large rollout of Nespresso Professional machines therefore needed a process that could work consistently across multiple sites.

Working with its Nespresso Professional account lead, Wolseley developed a robust approach to planning and delivery. Stuart Hargreaves, Soft Services Manager, describes close attention to detail, strong organisation and quick turnaround throughout an exercise that could otherwise have been cumbersome.

A rollout built around process

The rollout was supported from installation onwards. Branches had help available when needed, while Wolseley received reporting that gave its team a clear view of the programme. When practical changes were required, such as adjusting flavours or stock orders, Stuart highlights a constructive and responsive approach.

Stuart Hargreaves on the partnership

“We have had a large rollout of Nespresso machines to our sites in recent months. The support from our account lead has been excellent. We have developed a robust process which has helped to ensure that what could have been a very cumbersome exercise has in fact gone almost without any issues.

The attention to detail, organisation, support and quick turnaround has been a pleasant surprise. Our account lead is passionate about the product and it is reflected in the desire to ensure that we receive an optimum service. The whole end to end process has been managed superbly.

The machines themselves have gone down very well, installations have been largely problem free and support has been on hand when needed by our branches. What has also been refreshing is the reporting available to us and the constructive approach to any contractual issue that may arise, i.e. changing flavours or adjusting stock orders.

Overall this has been a very good partnership and one likely to continue for some time.”
